USAF Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance is transitioning

After nearly four decades with the US Air Force, with recent experience responsible for policy formulation, planning, evaluation and leadership of the 73,000 person intelligence and cyber operations enterprise and management of a $14 billion dollar yearly budget portfolio, this leader is now a Transitioning General Officer.

Daniel Simpson, who most recently served as Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance for Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Virginia, is now a Transitioning General Officer.

Daniel was recently responsible for policy formulation, planning, evaluation and leadership of the 73,000 person intelligence and cyber operations enterprise and management of a $14 billion dollar yearly budget portfolio. Additionally, served as the National Intelligence Manager for Aviation for the Director of National Intelligence.
