The United States Mint is seeking experienced service providers to provide IT services that are required to support the United States Mint’s IT systems and applications in areas that include communications, data center, data network, quality assurance, quality control, testing, change and configuration management, and customer service desk operations; in addition to services which shall complement Application Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME) services provided by a third party.
Information Technology Directorate (ITD)
The United States Mint seeks an experienced service provider that will enable ITD to support the United States Mint’s strategic goals and meet established organizational metrics and goals. ITD regularly revises its ITD Strategic Plan and Roadmap to closely align with the United States Mint strategic goals, core values, and mission and is actively executing several initiatives to achieve process improvement and automation. These initiatives include the following:
- Supervising and monitoring vital United States Mint applications in support of the United States Mint mission,
- Establishing portfolio and project management protocols,
- Refining asset, change, and configuration management processes,
- Developing a roadmap to identify the Target Architecture for the next generation of United States Mint systems,
- Implementation of Zero Trust architecture, technologies and processes per the Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity,
