We are delighted to announce a pivotal achievement for US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) – the official designation as a Federal Laboratory. This distinction, in accordance with Statutes and DoD Instruction 5535.08, signifies a momentous step forward for cyber research and development efforts for USCYBERCOM and partners.  As a Federal Laboratory, USCYBERCOM gains access to unique rights and privileges, enhancing our capacity to drive innovation, collaborate with academia and industry leaders, and contribute significantly to advancements in the development of cyber technologies.  We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated team, esteemed partners, and supporters whose collective efforts have played an integral role in attaining this noteworthy milestone. Together, we are charting a course towards the future of stronger cyber solutions, fortified by innovation and resilience.  In addition, we have also established the Office of Research and Technology Application (ORTA), who will be the staff responsible for executing Educational Partnership Agreements (EPA), Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA), and all other Technology Transfer agreements outlined in DoD Instruction 5535.08.  Stay tuned for forthcoming updates as we continue to lead, innovate, and secure the digital frontier!
