Notice ID: 28321325RI0000028
This opportunity is available on FedConnect.
The purpose and objective of this Request for Information is to obtain information that will assist SSA’s Office of Legal and Policy (OLP) with determining the extent of vendors who have experience providing e-discovery litigation support services and to understand market approaches to providing on-premises e-discovery litigation support personnel on a part- or full-time basis.
The agency is required by statute, regulations, and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure to maintain electronic materials in a manner that will make them available for inspection in any relevant litigation or investigation. OGC seeks information regarding the nature and availability of solutions providers who can support OGL, including but not limited to the following tasks:
- Provide locally based e-discovery litigation support services to OLP’s physical locations (including Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD and regional offices across the country);
- Provide e-discovery litigation support services as needed for OLP’s legal work outside of its offices, such as when a litigation matter goes to trial or when evidence (hardcopy and electronic) must be collected or processed in remote locations.
- Coordinate with OLP’s E-Discovery team (attorneys, litigation support staff, IT specialists, and records managers) for review of responsive records and delivery of cases to support litigation efforts.
- Assess and evaluate large amounts of ESI post-collection but prior to full processing to identify potentially responsive materials.
- Support OLP’s preservation, search, collection, and production efforts related to federal litigation.
