This year, a record 349 organizations participated in the VETS Indexes Employer Awards, with 294 recognized. Only those showing strong support for veterans, National Guard and Reserves members, and military spouses were honored. Participants included diverse entities such as companies, government agencies, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
The VETS Indexes Employer Awards program is the leading evaluation of veteran employers, setting a new standard in veteran employment data. It assesses employers’ policies and practices in five categories: veteran recruiting and hiring, employee development and retention, inclusive policies and culture, support for National Guard and Reserves, and military spouse/family support.
