Please join me in welcoming Christopher Peterson as the newest member of RMC’s senior management team. Chris is RMC’s Vice President and Portfolio Manager directing our operations supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWCCR) and our NSWCCR Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract. He is charged with helping RMC manage and grow our work within NSWCCR, the Naval Warfare Centers, and DoD entities focused on RDT&E. Chris provides extensive DoD experience gained with large and small businesses. Through his broad experience, he will help RMC continue to win work and further improve our business development and corporate management processes. He offers deep experience and demonstrated success leading captures, implementing disciplined business development approaches, as well as the refinement and scaling of corporate management systems that will help RMC continue to grow our company without losing our focus on the customer. This represents the first time that RMC has hired an outside professional in a Vice President/Portfolio Manager role. Chris was selected for his experience, demonstrated success, and understanding of the Naval Warfare Center environment. However, what most created this “match” is Chris’ attention to customers as well as the care and leadership of the working level staff that actually make the magic happen.
