Details related to the court challenge are quite limited, but late last week a contracting officer from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) shared that they have rescinded a decision to narrow the competitive range, including the decision to exclude three offerors from the competition, related to RFQ 1613616, noting the agency will take the following additional corrective actions:
“DISA will reevaluate the quotations received on April 24, 2023 from the offerors that have not withdrawn from the competition, to ensure that the technical evaluation complies with the request for quotations (RFQ). After the quotations are reevaluated, the contracting officer will decide whether to conduct exchanges in accordance with the RFQ, and if so, whether to narrow the number of competitive quotes for the sake of efficient competition. DISA reserves the right to take any further appropriate actions related to this procurement.”
The Court challenge was put forth by Accelgov, with FedTec and Autonimic Integra, both of which were not elimiated from the competition, serving as defendant-intervenors.
The protest details have been sealed. More will be shared as it is made available.
