The lone known active protest filed with GAO in relation to this SDVOSB set-aside requirement to support the 688 CW as it evaluates, implements, and integrates capabilities in the form of systems, equipment, hardware, software, and Information Assurance (IA) to enhance USAF cyber warfare capabilities has been dismissed.
The task order will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to include establishing and evaluating capabilities of the AFNet through project collaboration, requirements and life-cycle management. Services also will include identifying capability standards, facilitating process/tool standardizations, collaborating development/maintenance of operating procedures and process documentation, coordinating development of CONOPS, and facilitating system integration, on-boarding and implementation. CAPES personnel will provide recommendations and solutions to the 688 CW to ensure projects or initiatives are successfully implemented on the Air Force Information Network (AFIN). The CAPES solution will be configured, standardized, compatible, and secured to meet COCOM and Air Force Defensive Global Operations (DGO), Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), Collateral (unclassified and classified) Network Operations and the Cyber Security and Control System (CSCS) Weapon System (WS) standards. This includes providing technical, management, and advisory services in support of teams to establish properly integrated AFIN systems, software, and hardware.
