Bio:
Jeff Wagner has over 25 years of cybersecurity and IT experience. During 2015-2019 he served in several cybersecurity leadership roles as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Mission Area. He has shared his experience and knowledge as a diverse cybersecurity leader as a speaker, panelist, and moderator heard by Fortune 500 companies and the Federal Computer Security Managers Forum sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He has been honored as a Forbes Next 1000 honoree and as a Kansas City Business Journal NextGen Leader nominee. He received his Bachelor of Science in information systems and technology from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2001 and his Master of Business Administration from Northwest Missouri State University in 2021. He has been an ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional and CompTIA Security+ certified since 2007.

In 2019 Jeff founded Aspis Consulting, an IT professional services company specializing in cybersecurity. He led Aspis to achieve NGLCC LGBTBE certification in 2019 and SBA HUBZone certification in 2022. Aspis has been recognized as a 2021 top-3 finalist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Emerging Business Achievement Award; a 2022 top-3 finalist for the Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce Certified LGBTBE Business of the Year award; the 2022 Kansas City Business Journal #2 Future Fast 50; the 2022 Kansas City Business Journal #9 largest LGBT-owned company; the 2023 Kansas City Business Journal #34 largest fastest-growing technology company; and the 2023 Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year.
