The scope of this effort is to maintain DeCA systems under the DEBOSS initiative, which includes support for NCR brand-name hardware, software, services, and third-party applications. This effort encompasses a range of infrastructures and platforms, including VMWare, Microsoft, Linux, Oracle, and SQL.

Key elements of the requirement include:

• Hardware Maintenance: Procurement of annual renewal warranties and maintenance for proprietary, commercial off-the-shelf brand-name hardware integrated into DeCA’s infrastructure.
• Software Support: Renewal of annual licenses and subscriptions for software installed across DeCA’s networks, test environments, and other locations.

The DEBOSS contractor will provide comprehensive support across development, test, pre-production, and production environments (e.g., stores, warehouses, data centers, and other DeCA facilities). This includes operational, procedural, and contract management support for DeCA’s mission-critical activities. Specifically, the contractor will:

• Deliver program, project, and contract management services to ensure timely and effective performance.
• Support the planning, testing, evaluation, and integration of emerging technologies.
• Ensure continuity of DeCA’s global operations, including catalog management, ordering, receiving, inventory, and point-of-sale systems (current and future tender types).

This contract will ensure DeCA’s critical business solutions remain fully operational and capable of supporting the agency’s mission.

Performance will be at the contractor’s facility as well as DeCA’s 240 commissaries worldwide. Proposals were solicited via SAM.gov and five proposals were received. The period of performance of this contract, which consists of a one-year base and four one-year options, is Nov. 12, 2024, to Nov. 11, 2029. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is the contracting activity (HC108425D0001).
