Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract to review and to collect production metrics from specified CNC machines using programming WinCC OA V3.19. This is a proof of concept ONLY. The required items are for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 12.6 and FAR part 13, FAR part 39 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.
The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Siemens Industry, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This information is proprietary in nature and the OEM authorized technical representative is the only representative capable of providing the necessary oversight.
