Nava wins new work with OPM promoting benefits access and health equity

Nava is thrilled to have won the first task order on the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Digital Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for its division of Healthcare and Insurance (HI) Web Development. In this five year, $13 million agreement, Nava will provide IT services to support OPM’s work of providing over 8 million federal employees with insurance and benefit programs, including healthcare and retirement

With a commitment to championing talent for the federal government while promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within federal agencies, OPM is an ideal partner for us to further our mission. We strive to help make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all, including for civil servants. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support federal employees by building modern, flexible, and resilient digital services that center on federal employees.

“As an organization that’s dedicated to working alongside career civil servants, Nava deeply understands the critical role OPM plays in supporting the entire federal workforce,” said Sha Hwang, Nava’s Chief Operating Officer. “OPM’s emphasis on agile development and human-centered design will allow us to build and maintain applications that help the agency become more resilient and adaptable while expanding on its critical impact.”

Since getting our start as part of the HealthCare.gov rescue, federal, state, and local government agencies have trusted Nava to solve some of the most complex and highly scrutinized modernization challenges. Through human-centered design and agile development, we’ve provided end-to-end service delivery for government agencies including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
