Nava is thrilled to be chosen as a partner, along with Code for America, by the National WIC Association (NWA) to help modernize WIC Management Information Systems (MIS)! For this project, the NWA received $14.9 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) via a competitively awarded, one-time, four-year cooperative agreement. Over the course of this work, Nava will lead technical research and product strategy development for the future of WIC MIS, as well as help support FNS with the implementation of the strategy and state transition planning.
