LMI will provide the Air Force (AF) and the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) Logistics Directorate (LG) Office with highly specialized services and analysis to support Readiness-Spares Packages (RSP) and Readiness-Based Sparing (RBS). During this contract, LMI will support supply chain data and perform in-depth analysis to improve AF supply chain readiness and the management principles related to RSP and RBS, as well as enable decision making and oversight of supply chain health across the AF enterprise. The $33.9 million contract has a five-year performance period.

“We are thrilled at LMI to bring our expertise, proven analytic tools, and processes and to continue to deliver superior logistics support to our Air Force partners,” said Jon Baba, senior vice president of LMI’s defense market.

LMI will work with AFSC to present optimization tools consistent with AFSC 2.0 goals and Digital Depot Vision for Industry. With LMI experts in all logistics areas, the Air Force will benefit from the best practices in requirements computational logic, paving the way for supply chain innovation at reduced risk and cost.

“We are delighted to continue to provide world-class supply chain support and expertise to our AFSC mission partner. Our priority remains sustaining weapon system readiness to deliver America’s air power for great power competition,” said Trish Csank, LMI vice president for supply chain management.

For more than 35 years, LMI has partnered with Air Force logistics to develop, maintain, and operate a suite of aircraft sustainment models. These models maximize resource investment potential to deliver enterprise analysis that helps decision makers validate readiness assessments for a wide range of weapon systems. LMI has also supported this command with technical expertise to develop and implement custom digital logistics decision-support solutions, maintain and operate supply chain systems and analytic tools, and help reengineer enterprise logistics processes and policies to respond to evolving and increasingly complex threats.
