The IRS Mission is to provide America’s taxpayers superior customer service, while enforcing policies, empowering the workforce, and modernizing IRS systems.   To attain this Mission, the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) has two equally important strategic goals that will address the IRS Mission.

  1. Modernization: Identify ways to modernize existing tools, business process and platforms to allow for accurate data-driven decision making; maximize efficiencies while identifying optimal organizational solutions that will allow for OCPO to recruit, hire, retain and empower the workforce and strengthen external OCPO partner relationships; and
  2. Organizational Support Services: maintain operational continuity while enhancing our current business process and ensure top notch transparent customer service is provided to all stakeholders.

The OCPO requires support with technology and analytics modernization to identify ways to modernize existing tools, business process and platforms to allow for accurate data-driven decision making; maximize efficiencies while identifying optimal organizational solutions that will allow for OCPO to recruit, hire, retain and empower the workforce and strengthen external OCPO partner relationships.

The period of performance for this task order is one 12-month base year and four 12-month option year periods.
