iPower LLC Names Industry Veteran as Chief Growth Officer

iPower LLC, a leader in world-class professional consulting services has named Cheryl Waldrup as its Chief Growth Officer. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, iPower LLC is a certified economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business (EDWOSB) that provides services in a variety of disciplines that range from strategic process planning to the most effective implementation of improvements using traditional and web-enabled IT applications engineering. Since the firm’s founding, iPower has sustained stable growth through the successful support of over 100 organizations within government and industry.

Waldrup is a senior capture and business development executive with more than two decades of experience in the Federal Government contracting arena, gathering customer requirements and aligning products and services to meet those requirements.  At iPower, Cheryl is responsible for all growth activities, including marketing, business development and capture. Cheryl is a 20+ year veteran of government contracting and has held leadership roles at a number of companies of various sizes including GDIT, American Systems Corporation, Daon Biometrics, Deep Water Point Consulting, GP Strategies and Aleut Federal.

Cheryl holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and was recognized by the Wall Street Journal and Capella University as the Business Leader of 2017.  She is a Governance Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), a graduate of the ACT-IAC Partners’ program and is a graduate of the Women in Technology’s 2014 Leadership Foundry Program, which prepares more women to serve on corporate boards. She was recently inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and has completed their Advanced Leadership Certification program.  Cheryl is an elected member of the ACT-IAC Executive Committee, where she chairs the Professional Development program.
