Description – The contractor shall provide non personal services necessary to support Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE) operations by providing subject matter expertise related to implementation science and research translation services specific to psychological health in military populations and within the Military Health System. To accomplish this objective, the contract will assist in planning and executing a practice-based implementation pilot in a manner that conforms to the highest standards of implementation science. The required implementation science and research translation services include:
• Conducting planning of an implementation science pilot study to assess the feasibility of incorporating mobile applications in outpatient psychological healthcare delivery in the direct care components of the Military Health System;
• Developing training on the use of mobile applications for participating sites and psychological health providers;
• Delivering training (either in person or virtually) to participating sites and psychological health providers;
• Conducting facilitation sessions with participating pilot sites to identify barriers and facilitators to implementation;
• Apply implementation science strategies to work with participating pilot sites to address noted barriers;
• Rapidly disseminate identified solutions to common barriers across the network of participating pilot sites;
• Conduct data collection and analysis activities to characterize the impact of implementation strategies on the feasibility and adoptability of the planned intervention;
• Prepare written reports and presentations detailing findings of pilot outcomes as well as in-progress reviews;
• Participate in dissemination of findings to stakeholders at participating pilot sites and within the Behavioral Health Clinical Community;
• Participate in the production of at least one scholarly article to disseminate pilot findings to a wider professional audience.
