DOT to extend Mission Information Technology Support Services (MITS) IDIQ contract and extend ceiling

The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) in Cambridge, MA, intends to modify the Volpe Center’s existing Mission Information Technology Support Services (MITS) single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract, 6913G621D300001 awarded to KBR Wyle Services, LLC, to increase the ceiling of the ID/IQ and exercise FAR clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services.

The Volpe Center intends to increase the contract ceiling by $50.0M and extend the ordering period by six months (to March 29, 2026). This action will result in an increase in contract ceiling to the existing contract identified above which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services. A follow-on, competitive contract is expected to be awarded by summer 2026.

This 15-calendar day notice shall expire on October 25, 2024, 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The information received will be considered solely for market research purposes.
