DOI selects Quan Boatman to be Director of the Interior Business Center

U.S. Department of the Interior has selected Quan Boatman as the director of the Interior Business Center. IBC operates under a fee-for-service, full-cost recovery business model, offering acquisition, financial management and human resources systems and services to federal organizations. Quan will oversee IBC’s delivery of shared services to support Interior offices and bureaus, as well as over 150 other federal agencies. Quan joined IBC in August 2021, as the Deputy Director. In that role, she ensured effective planning and management of IBC services, operations, and resources. Quan guided IBC’s strategy, risk, and performance management functions while supporting IBC’s three customer-facing shared service areas of assisted acquisition, financial management, and human resources/payroll. Prior to coming to IBC, Quan held several leadership positions overseeing government-wide programs and initiatives at the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Management and Budget (detail) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Please join us in congratulating Quan for her selection as the IBC Director. See the news here.
