DOI RFI: National Park Service Property Management System (NPS PMS)

NPS requires a business-grade Property Management System (PMS) with features similar to Oracle Opera or equivalent. Features sought include managing conference room and lodging room availability and reservations, guest check-in and check-out, housekeeping management, consumables inventory management, and providing information and alerts to guests.

The objective is to obtain a FEDRAMP compliant, cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) Property Management System (PMS) to manage the lodging and facility operations. The NPS will consider sponsoring the FedRAMP process for vendors who are prepared and serious about becoming FEDRAMP authorized. The NPS is seeking market research information to obtain ideas, strategies, and solutions on options to achieve this objective, to include suggested contract type, i.e. firm-fixed-price (FFP), time and material (T&M), etc.

Task Area 1 – Property Management System (PMS) Provide a Property/Lodging Management System in a FEDRAMP compliant application and hosting environment. NPS is seeking a business professional application solution such as Oracle Opera or equivalent.   The new PMS SaaS requires integration of a Payment Compliant Industry (PCI) payment system integrated between the PMS and Pay.gov

Task Area 2 – Facility Integration Provide a system with capabilities to include integrating with Abloy-Assay door locks, Pay.gov and Point of Sale systems.

Task Area 3 – Support Hours & System Training Provide product support with initial Training for NPS staff and ongoing product support as needed.
