SCOPE OF IT2CS2 SERVICES:

Under this PWS, the Contractor shall support system security engineering and development activities in support of OST, in accordance with Federal guidance and directives as applicable to the requirements for infrastructure engineering. Activities include, but are not limited to, as pertains to fixed and mobile systems infrastructure: (1) system initiation; (2) system development and acquisition; (3) system implementation; (4) system operation and maintenance; and (5) system disposition. Furthermore, the Contractor shall provide business process support, program management, project management, asset management and Service Desk for end-user support. The IT2CS2 services provided are separate from DOE’s service known as Energy IT Services (EITS) and NNSA’s Mission Service Desk.

In addition to direct support of OST information and telecommunications systems, the Contractor shall support OST efforts to mature IT processes through the appropriate use of a recognized best practice model, such as (but not limited to) the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) for the development of a proactive IT business model …
