Requirement is for support services for the execution of Data Governance, Data Inventory and Acquisition Lifecycle activities. This includes both current and future efforts that have direct mission customer impact, that align with the vision, mission and priorities. The Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for establishing a reliable data inventory of all CBP datasets to lay the foundation for data management, governance, and analytics. At its foundation, a reliable data inventory will create visibility for CBP regarding its data holdings, data location, and the systems within which the data is housed. It will also identify the various data stakeholders, detail data lineage, and well as other key attributes. Fundamentally, the inventory creates the foundational visibility at the enterprise level of the data landscape. This inventory process is currently ongoing and is being performed manually. The dynamic nature of CBP data limits the span, efficiency, and effectiveness of a manual inventory. To fully realize the benefits of becoming a data-centric organization, CBP must acquire, customize, deploy, or employ an automated data catalog. Acquisition Strategy: 8a Direct Award
