CORTEK, Inc., an EM Key Solutions (EMKS) Company, Announces Contract Award to Support the Department of State Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation (ISN) Offices

EMKS subsidiary CORTEK, Inc. (CORTEK), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) VetCert Program, announced today award of a contract to continue and expand their support to the Department of State’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation (ISN). The award, with a total initial value of $17M, is to provide a wide range of programmatic tasks necessary to administer and implement foreign assistance programs and policy objectives for a number of offices within ISN, including the Office of Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism (WMDT); Office of the Biological Policy Staff (BPS); Office of Nuclear Energy, Safety and Security; and Office of Counterproliferation Initiatives (CPI).

This contract represents a consolidation of two previous contracts, affirming CORTEK as a leader in the CWMD space at ISN. On this effort, CORTEK will continue to deliver technical WMD, CBRN, and antiterrorism knowledge combined with programmatic expertise, policy development, exercise design and delivery, as well as strategic foresight to provide ISN’s Non-Proliferation Programs with the highest quality technical support. This also includes large-scale CWMD and Nuclear Response exercises, meetings, and engagement activities with interagency partners and international stakeholders.

This includes work in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where they have developed and deployed innovative program and project management strategies, intuitive systems engineering models, and cutting-edge coordination approaches specifically related to those areas.
