GENESEO, NY (November 11, 2024) – Coast Professional, Inc. (Coast) proudly hosted its First Responders Day cookouts on October 28, 2024, in both New York and Louisiana. These events celebrated the heroic efforts of firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement officers from Livingston County, NY, and Ouachita Parish, LA. Coast expressed heartfelt gratitude by providing complimentary lunches to nearly 250 first responders, acknowledging their unwavering dedication to keeping communities safe.
The cookouts were coordinated by Coast’s “Coast Cares” committee, which oversees community outreach nationwide and manages all company-wide volunteer initiatives. Employees dedicated their time to serve freshly grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and beverages, creating an atmosphere of gratitude and community spirit. In Louisiana, Mac’s Fresh Markets generously provided bottled water, utensils, and their signature homemade banana pudding, adding to the festive ambiance. Additionally, Louisiana Congresswoman Julia Letlow attended, celebrating alongside the first responders.Brent Henderson, Coast’s Vice President of Human Resources, emphasized the importance of community support: “It’s important for us to give back to our local heroes. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, and this cookout is a small way we can express our thanks.”This event marks the second time Coast has hosted First Responders Day cookouts, the first events occurring in 2019.
