CMS CPI Deputy Director takes role as Principal Adviser to the CFO

Leveraging nearly four decades in support of CMS, including time recently serving as Deputy Director of the Center for Program Integrity (CPI) at the Centers for Medicare Services, this leader takes on a new challenge.

George Mills Jr is now listed as Principal Adviser to the CFO of CMS. In this role George will be responsible for developing policies relating to the financial management of the Medicare, Medicaid, and related programs administered by CMS and will advise and counsel the CMS Administrator and Chief Operating Officer on matters related to the operating plan budget and improper payments and shares the accountability for financial programmatic changes and impact.
