The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center ESI seeks decision-support capabilities to significantly improve command post (CP) organization and operations. A CP is a unit headquarters where the Commander and staff perform their activities. CPs are facilities that include personnel, equipment, information systems, and networks, guided by processes and procedures that assist commanders in exercising mission command. The components of a command and control (C2) system are people, processes, networks, and physical infrastructure.
U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR recognizes that this RFI is intentionally broad. C5ISR’s desire for responses will characterize applicable technologies and their current technical readiness as applicable to the stated capability objective. RFI responders are also encouraged to identify technology opportunities within the next five years to include required conditions for the opportunity to be realized. Additionally, proposals would provide concepts for integrating additional data types, and what can be achieved through additional data type integration.
