The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention within HHS has awarded a $9.4 million contract to A Square Group, LLC, to provide the CDC Office of the CIO (OCIO) with CPIC EA and Data Policy support. The time-and-materials contract was awarded on the CIO-SP3 SB contract vehicle after 5 offers were received on this small business set-aside procurement.
Scope
The scope of work for A Square Group’s contract with the CDC includes several key areas:
Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC): This involves managing and overseeing the CDC’s investments in IT projects to ensure they align with the agency’s strategic goals and provide value.
IT and Data Portfolio Governance: A Square Group will design and develop decision models, tools and methodology to evaluate the IT and data portfolio performance and improve performance of those investments.
IT Project Management: This includes developing and enhancing a Department-wide standard IT project management methodology and providing advanced analytic support to conduct cost and schedule analysis to ensure best practices are implemented across the enterprise.
These efforts aim to enhance the CDC’s IT capabilities and ensure that their systems and data management practices are robust and effective.
