SNC to Provide Critical Software for Army’s TITAN Program

SNC will provide its SNC TRAX® software, hardware integration services, and engineering support for the U.S. Army’s Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) program as part the Palantir Technologies Inc. team. TITAN is a scalable, expeditionary intelligence ground station that supports multi-domain operations (MDO) as a key piece of the Department of Defense’s Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiative. SNC TRAX enables command and control, enhances situational awareness, and shortens sensor-to-shooter timelines from hours to minutes for faster results on the battlefield.

A next-generation, software-centric ground vehicle system, TITAN’s mission is to connect sensors with field users to support beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) targeting. A key part of SNC’s contribution to the TITAN program is its SNC TRAX software. SNC TRAX is a certified C2 gateway software application that is currently in use across multiple branches of the U.S. military in support of MDO. SNC TRAX has been proven operationally in the hands of tactical operators, operations center personnel, aircrews and ground units worldwide since 2012.

“SNC is excited to work on the Palantir team and leverage our experience as a lead systems integrator toward developing a truly open architecture JADC2 solution,” said Tim Owings, executive vice president of SNC’s Mission Solutions & Technologies business area. “SNC TRAX software architecture enables rapid integration of other systems and sensors so it’s able to create the ‘data fabric’ that informs decision making through a connected battlefield.”

The SNC TRAX software integrates military and commercial standards using an application programming interface (API) and common data model. It creates a modular framework connecting platforms, ground units and operations centers across different communication and data systems.

The software solution hosts, translates and routes mission-critical tactical data information to and from disparate networks, providing the analytics and fusion of data required for near real-time decision making across multiple warfare domains.
