In a groundbreaking innovative event, the United States Department of the Air Force‘s Acquisition Instructor Course (AQIC) students are working with Platform One to leverage the Platform One Solutions Marketplace (P1SM) for rapid software procurement.
The P1SM is a supercharged, web-based and AI powered contracting vehicle built off a Multiple Authority Announcement (MAA), combining a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) and a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). 👀
Tasked with a real-world requirement, students are using P1SM to conduct the full spectrum of contract activities, including certifying funds, AI powered market research, requirement documentation generation, streamlined acquisition strategy formulation and fully automated workflows. 🙌
The goal, award a contract from concept to award in under 24 hours. The result, with less than 6 hours of work time over a 24 hours period, the AQIC Students and Platform One Acquisition Team broke the DoD’s record for a C-Type contract execution! 🤝
