Following the news that Andrea Snader had joined Edgewater as the company’s newly created Health and DoD Sector President, overseeing the strategic operations and growth of its health and defense sector, OS AI caught up to learn more about this flexible, agile, and fearless firm looking to bring measured results for customers and its commitment to investment and expansion.
Bringing Solutions to Federal Customers
I’ve been supporting the Federal Government for more than 15 years, mainly in growth positions for small and mid-tier firms. My expertise is helping companies bring their solutions and capabilities to new Federal agencies and customers. I’ve helped prior companies support new work at the USAF, DHRA, DCMA, and HHS, to name a few. I love learning about new customers and their challenges and partnering with them to modernize, gain efficiencies, and save money.
A Step Toward Organizational Change
Being at a large business for the past several years, I joined Edgewater so that I could get back to my roots and be a part of an agile organization where solving our customer’s most critical problems is valued above all else Edgewater has great people and qualifications to leverage mainly within DOE, HHS, and DOJ and we are looking to bring these solutions to new agencies while also continuing to invest in new capabilities that get our customers ahead of their next challenges.
Additionally, Edgewater recently embarked on a large organizational change. Tom Ferrando was the Chairman of the Board and recently joined as the CEO. We are in the process of building out our team and investing in new and expanded capabilities for our customers. It’s an exciting time!
Investing and Committing to Expansion
I’d like to think me joining Edgewater means we will be expanding rapidly, winning new contracts, and being the one to watch in the coming years. With the recent addition of my colleague and Chief Transformation Officer, Bob Amani, I think you will be seeing Edgewater invest and commit to expanding into new customer. We want to provide efficient outcomes that are measurable and quantifiable. We are investing in a few key customer priority areas such as cybersecurity where we provide a turnkey cyber solution to improve our client’s security posture, reduce operational risks, and outpace emerging threats via managed services or a hybrid model. Enterprise IT is at the heart of our core offerings where we focus on the full end-to-end customer needs with a focus on the customer’s strategy but including the full suite of solutions to include DevSecOps and cloud management. We also leverage our Innovation Center to co-create with our customers and build out use cases and experiment with cutting edge solutions such as artificial intelligence to better serve our customers.
Measured Results for Customers
Our team at Edgewater is focused on serving our customers’ most pressing problems and meeting them where they are in the process. A key focus area this year is providing efficiency and quantifiable, measured results for our customers. This means bringing to bear automation of processes through innovative tools and techniques and collaborating closely with our customers to tie the work to their key metrics for success. Our solutions are innovative, flexible, and cutting edge to drive value for our customers and the American taxpayer.
Flexible, Agile and Fearless – Who’s In?
I’d love to re-engage with existing partners and hear from partners both large and small if there is a capability gap Edgewater can help fill. At Edgewater we always pride ourselves for being flexible, agile, and fearless. We have partnerships with key ecosystem partners such as Microsoft and AWS, but are also work closely with small business partners that serve a niche needs. This flexibility has given Edgewater a key advantage over larger businesses in that we are more responsive to the customer’s needs.
