This contract is for continued operations, maintenance and support of the existing ABACUS, cloud-hosted solution for MTF billing and collection; continued support and maintenance of the MHS GENESIS to ABACUS Interface; phase out and transition to the ABACUS replacement; and ABACUS decommissioning and sunset. The Contractor shall maintain all existing ABACUS functionality to include all incidental support for the Services’ medical billing, collection, reporting and utilization for TPC, MSA and MAC services at multiple locations including MTFs worldwide, DHA UBO Program Office Falls church, VA, legal offices, and current/future central billing UBO central billing locations until decommissioning.
The Contractor shall ensure that ABACUS provides throughput at no less than the baseline capability of 155.52 mbps for dynamic, non-streaming WEB content. The Contractor shall
ensure bandwidth throughout the period of performance sufficient to support the prescribed business performances metrics for an average of 25,000 patient encounters per day by 1100 concurrent users with the potential for bandwidth increase of 15 percent in each contract year.
The Contractor shall provide labor, maintenance, supervision, and software administration associated with certifying, securing, operating, upgrading, and maintaining the ABACUS software and any associated hardware in accordance with this PWS. The Contractor shall provide CAC-enabled public internet access to ABACUS and continue receipt of bulk data transfer from MHS GENESIS.
