Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) RFI: Guard and eFOTM Database and Software Support Services – MRAS

The purpose of this request is to procure a contractor to provide support, maintenance and enhancements to the Guard software system.  The system consists of the following

• Guard: An existing client-based software program that serves as an electronic “reference library” of regulations, interpretations, and related documents for use by 10,000 commercial motor vehicle (CMV) inspectors.  Updates are provided via the internet.
• Electronic Field Operations Training Manual (eFOTM): An existing stand-alone searchable database that provides a comprehensive guide to enforcement personnel to uniformly implement FMCSA’s enforcement and compliance policies and procedures.
