J29, Inc. Announces Contract Win to Support Federal Employee Health Benefits Program

We are thrilled to announce that J29, Inc. (J29) has secured a new five-year contract to support the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in their management of the Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) program. This significant achievement, competitively awarded to J29, underscores our commitment to enhancing the quality and efficiency of health benefits for federal employees across the United States.

The FEHB program is one of the largest employer-sponsored health insurance programs in the nation, serving over 8 million federal employees, retirees, and their families. It provides a vital service, ensuring that government personnel have access to comprehensive health care coverage. Our partnership with OPM aims to further improve this essential program, focusing on enhancing service delivery, optimizing operations, and ensuring that federal employees receive the best possible health care options.

At J29, we focus on the processing, review, and analysis of medical claims, records, disputes, and audits, tailored to meet the unique needs of the health and human service programs that we support across commercial, State, and Federal clients. Our team of experts is dedicated to understanding the complexities of the healthcare landscape, and we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive positive outcomes for both the agency and the individuals it serves. Kicking off J29’s work with OPM now adds to the current Federal missions that J29 is supporting at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR).

As part of this contract, we will be supporting a range of initiatives designed to streamline the FEHB program’s operations. Aligned we the specialization that J29 has in medical claims and records analysis and processing, our team of subject matter experts will support OPM in ensuring that all FEHB beneficiaries are having the proper and appropriate decisions made on their respective medical claims.

One of our key objectives is to leverage our expertise, technologies, and medical review capabilities to improve the overall user experience and satisfaction for FEHB participants. “J29 has been working with Federal employees who tirelessly have been giving everything they have in their missions to support Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE, since 2017. Now, J29 has the opportunity to ensure that those Federal employees that have been going above and beyond for others, are taken care of as beneficiaries themselves,” said J29’s President, Nick Vass. Our approach is centered around ensuring that federal employees have a seamless experience when navigating their health benefits, ultimately leading to better health outcomes through the proper application of medical claim decisions.

This contract win is a testament to J29’s mission of being an employee-centered company, our capabilities and our commitment to excellence in service delivery. We are proud to partner with OPM in this critical initiative and are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. “This new contract win is a testament to J29’s prioritization around the employee experience and employee retention. We’re beyond grateful to our J29 employees who align themselves to the our mission each and every day,” said J29’s CEO and Founder, Tracy Mills. Our team is ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work, ensuring that the FEHB program not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the federal workforce. Thank you for your continued support as we strive to enhance health benefits for federal employees and their families.
