As an intelligence agency, NGA is subjected to continuous cyber security threats. These threats have precipitously increased over the last two years, notably by foreign military groups and state sponsored hacking rings. The CAVE ECAM services satisfied through the aforementioned order, enable the agency’s assessment of their risk posture, necessary to protect NGA’s classified systems and data that support the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of intelligence tradecraft.
Issuance of a logical follow on order to the incumbent, on a noncompetitive basis to satisfy NGA’s ongoing need is justified. The scope of the ongoing work requires the contractor to continue in progress development work involving applications that have been significantly customized to support the agency’s mission.
