HighPoint Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients

HighPoint is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 HighPoint scholarships. This year, the scholarships have been awarded to Landon Courtney and Xavier Zagerman, each receiving a $5,000 scholarship to support their undergraduate studies.

Landon Courtney will be attending Tennessee Technological University in Tennessee, where he will major in Electrical Engineering. Landon has demonstrated exceptional analytical skills through his passion for solving unique Rubik’s cubes and his love for strategic board games. He has also participated in an annual church youth group bike trip through the San Juan Islands, which has been a significant part of his personal and spiritual growth. Landon’s father, Kevin Stum, is a Web Developer at Federal IT Solutions.

Xavier Zagerman will be attending Concordia University Chicago, where he will major in Health Science and play on the university’s collegiate baseball team. During high school, Xavier played a pivotal role in bringing his school’s first-year baseball program to the semi-finals and earned spots on the all-region and all-district teams for two consecutive years. Xavier plans to enroll in a Physician Assistant Program after completing his undergraduate studies to achieve his dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. Xavier’s father, Simon Zagerman, is a Senior Data Analyst located in Arizona.

Scholarship America, an independent organization that manages corporate and foundation scholarship programs, carefully processed and reviewed the applications to select the scholarship recipients.

“We are thrilled to support Landon and Xavier in their academic pursuits and wish them the best in their collegiate studies,” said Jay Jones, Chief Executive Officer of HighPoint. “Their achievements and aspirations reflect the values and dedication we uphold at HighPoint.”
