{"id":74395,"date":"2023-11-13T05:11:41","date_gmt":"2023-11-13T10:11:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orangeslices.ai\/?p=74395"},"modified":"2023-12-13T05:12:14","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T10:12:14","slug":"kemba-walden-leaving-white-house-cyber-post-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orangeslices.ai\/kemba-walden-leaving-white-house-cyber-post-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"Kemba Walden Leaving White House Cyber Post Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Acting National Cyber Director (NCD) Kemba Walden will depart from her White House position on Friday, an NDC spokesperson confirmed to MeriTalk today.<\/p>\n<p>Walden\u2019s resignation comes days before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is expected to vote on the nomination of President Biden\u2019s choice \u2013 Harry Coker \u2013 to fill the NCD post permanently.<\/p>\n<p>President Biden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/meritalk.com\/articles\/biden-taps-harry-coker-as-national-cyber-director\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nominated<\/a>\u00a0Coker for the White House position in July after the inaugural NCD Chris Inglis\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.meritalk.com\/articles\/ncd-chris-inglis-leaving-white-house-next-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stepped down<\/a>\u00a0from the role in February.
