NASA has undergone a 6-week strategic pause on the SEWP VI solicitation to address industry concerns.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the strategic pause, Industry shall expect to see the following from NASA in the upcoming weeks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responses to ALL questions previously submitted to the SEWP VI Q&amp;A Comment tool.<\/li>\n<li>Responses to these questions will be communicated in approximately three batches between October 01st and 22nd.<\/li>\n<li>The answers previously provided to Industry will remain as a resource to reference as a Frequently Asked Questions document.<\/li>\n<li>An additional two days to ask questions using the SEWP VI Q&amp;A Tool.<\/li>\n<li>Subsequent Amendments addressing necessary edits to the solicitation.<\/li>\n<li>An Industry Day scheduled in November 2024, to discuss any substantive changes to the solicitation prior to proposal receipt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tentative Schedule: (**Refer to the SAM link below for the latest details)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Industry Answers to Current Questions (i.e. all ~6,800 questions received to date)- October 1- 22nd<\/li>\n<li>Additional Questions Period- October 22-24th<\/li>\n<li>All Amendments and Answers to any Additional Questions- NLT November 4th<\/li>\n<li>Industry Day-November 2024<\/li>\n<li>SEWP VI Proposal Submission Due Date- DECEMBER 18th, 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NASA values its partnership with Industry and urges continued monitoring of SAM.gov and the SEWP Website for ongoing communications and updates.<\/p>\n<p>Amendment 7-9.20.24- The due date of the solicitation is extended to 12pm EST on December 18th, 2024. Note: One forward-thinking Proposal\/Capture consultancy will be holding a series of events to help gather and provide feedback to NASA on this important procurement. More below.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;NASA appreciates industry interest in the SEWP VI Request for Proposal and the submitted questions. We value collaboration, and we strive to ensure a transparent process for our industry partners.<\/p>\n<p>In consideration of this, NASA is implementing a strategic pause on the SEWP VI Request for Proposals.<\/p>\n<p>The due date for proposals will be extended at a future date. NASA anticipates completing the below activities and intends to communicate updates via SAM.gov and the SEWP website (sewp.nasa.gov).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A future amendment will be published after NASA completes a review of its RFP and Q&amp;A received to determine if substantive clarifications or changes are required.\u00a0 This activity is anticipated to take a few weeks.<\/li>\n<li>An Industry Day will be scheduled to discuss any substantive changes to the RFP prior to proposal receipt.<\/li>\n<li>The new proposal receipt date will be communicated after the above activities and will allow time for industry to submit proposals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again, NASA appreciates the feedback received and values its partnership with Industry.
