“The purpose of this posting is to notify interested parties that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) has replaced one of the awardees on the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Two (T4NG2) contract. Specifically, the award to Sierra 7, Inc. has been cancelled after re-evaluation by the Government in response to a Small Business Administration Area Office size determination that Sierra 7, Inc. is other than a small business for this procurement. As a result, the next highest rated offeror, CGI Federal, Inc., has received an award.” Read more here.

No one needs to explain how this happened as I get it, but the optics on this are just horrible! Sierra 7 is a highly competent service-disabled veteran owned company who grewin large part due to the suppport they provide to VA today. And so you now you will boot a large small SDVO for a HUGE non-sdvo firm.

If the small busines reviews are done, can the TAC now move forward with debriefs?

  3. Ned Struzz

Debriefs are being scheduled as we speak.

  4. John Peterson

    Debriefs are starting today… 3/11

  5. J T Hughes

Our T4NG partner told us that TAC is stating that debriefs will be complete by the end of the month and they expect (hope) to have all protests resolved within 6 months.
