The Contractor shall provide shippable product, operations support, and security compliance for the CC Sub-Product Lines under the CCPL. A shippable product is defined as one that has been deployed to a production-like environment, validated through testing, monitored for resiliency, and determined to be operable and available for customers. This support includes all development, testing, integration, architecture (with concurrence from enterprise and product line architecture), refactoring as needed, deployment activities, and all operations and maintenance support activities to include predictive, preventative, corrective, and evolutionary through a cycle of Continuous Integration. To do this, the Contractor shall utilize DevSecOps principles and SAFe practices in partnership with VA. The Contractor shall provide cross-functional, Agile teams of varying size to build and maintain a platform with capabilities to streamline systems, improve scalability, increase availability and reliability of services, and more accurately measure investments in terms of business value while enabling more efficient delivery. The Agile team(s) shall work to strengthen the CCPL by meeting and continuing to exceed Product Line Management maturity guidelines and DevSecOps and SAFe methodologies. These guidelines are evolving and subject to change as maturity develops within VA.
The Contractor shall adhere to VA policies and procedures to include, the DSO Product Line Management Playbook, the Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) Guide or VA-approved Release Processes and adopt modern practices to continuously improve VA experiences through a combination of people, processes, and technology. The Contractor shall support the CC product suite as listed in CC DevSecOps Application List (Attachment B) and any additional future products that come into CCPL, to enhance and modernize the Product Line as notionally represented in the attachment which is subject to change as product management evolves at VA.
