The Department of Homeland Security has announced its intention to make an 8(a) sole source award this June for the recompete of this US Citizenship and Immigration Services OCDO contract to support the gathering, analysis, and management of requirements related to the streamlined case processing of immigration cases and related actions.
Intelligent Automation leader Vertical Applications, who was acquired by Mindpetal last Fall, is the known incumbent. Contract Details and Spend to Date can be found here (70SBUR22P00000024).
In meeting this objective, the contractor will be expected to collaborate with multiple business stakeholders including the OCDO and other directorates to conduct the work. The contractor will be exposed to multiple case management programs and business initiatives and will be expected to cooperate and interact with other USCIS and OCDO contractor teams.
USCIS has stated that it already has an 8(a) vendor in mind, but that won’t stop firms from expressing their interest.
