U.S. Army Reserve Awards SAIC $156 Million Contract for IT Service Management

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a $156 million contract to provide system support to the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) through their United States Army Reserve Command Information Technology Support Services (USARC ITSS II) contract.

“SAIC has a decades-long history of partnering with the U.S. Army Reserve to advance their mission,” said Josh Jackson, senior vice president, Army Business Group at SAIC. “We are proud to support their program modernization with innovative, cost-effective and mission-oriented managed information technology services.”

SAIC and its partners will leverage their collective expertise in expanding operational efficiencies and implementing innovations to provide USARC with a cost-effective service model focused on mission imperatives and user experience in the delivery of secure and resilient IT services.

Under this contract, SAIC will support USARC’s mission by consolidating enterprise IT services at a global scale through standardized, responsive and cost-effective solutions. The USARC ITSS II program will be managed out of Fort Liberty, North Carolina, and provide a wide range of IT services for more than 65,000 users across over 700 locations, primarily in the U.S. with additional sites in Asia, Europe, Pacific region and Puerto Rico. This effort will focus on delivering mission value and enhanced user experience, while improving cybersecurity, network availability and reliability for USARC and its customers.
