1. Mission

This work supports missions across all three United States Space Force (USSF) Field Commands. The mission of these USSF elements are as follows:

  • The mission of Space Operations Command (SpOC) is to protect America and our Allies in, from, and to space, now and into the future.
  • The Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) mission is to prepare the United States Space Force to prevail in competition and conflict through innovative education, training, doctrine, and test.
  • The Space Systems Command (SSC) mission is to deliver resilient space capabilities to defend the nation in the contested space domain.

The services required shall aid in mission success of these USSF elements to include improving operational readiness, risk mitigation, and increasing mission effectiveness.

1.2 Scope

This scope of this effort is to provide ISSO support for USSF classified networks, provide assessment of independent Local Area Networks (LAN), execute LAN collapse procedures, purchase authorized LAN equipment to support USSF classified network expansion or upgrades, conduct on site surveys for establishing new LAN locations, determine equipment required, define customer requirements, transport, configure, and install new equipment and implement all the required services to make the new location operational.
