Two years ago this week, we officially launched OrangeSlices AI. From the beginning, our goal was simple: create a trusted, independent space for the Federal IT and Consulting community to connect, share, and access the information that matters most. Over these two years, our community has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. You have read, shared, challenged, and contributed in ways that have made this platform not just ours, but yours.
Today, I am proud to share that OrangeSlices AI is now officially a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). This was a planned next step in our evolution, announced last year, and it is one I believe is essential to who we are and where we are going. Being a PBC means we are a legal corporation with a mandate to serve a defined public mission. For us, that mission is advancing transparency, fostering innovation, and providing free tools and resources that help all companies succeed in government contracting.
This matters because in times like these, when our industry, our government, and our world are changing faster than ever, trust and independence are not optional; they are essential. We have no corporate parent. We do not lobby. We do not bid on contracts. Our sole focus is to serve this community with credible, vendor-neutral insights and connections that help government and industry leaders deliver on the missions that matter most. We help organizations of every size, from very small to very large companies, and we are a partner to government. You know what you get with us — a trusted and independent partner you can rely on.
Through the Fresh Squeezed Daily Newsletter, a LinkedIn presence that reaches more than 75,000 engaged readers, our in-person and virtual events, and programs like Engage FedGov and Elev8 GovCon, we have become a daily touchpoint for decision-makers. It is not the scale that matters most, it is the trust. That trust is built one interaction, one story, one connection at a time.
Becoming a PBC is a tangible promise that we will protect that trust. It means that as we grow, the community’s interest will remain at the heart of every decision we make. It means that the independence you value today will be preserved tomorrow. And it means that we will keep pushing to elevate the conversations that matter, spotlight the leaders and organizations who are #doingitright, and connect the right people to deliver meaningful results.
