Details are limited, but an announcement by GAO earlier today indicates that activity is underway to address recent challenges raised.

The lone know GAO protest, detailed below, has been dismissed. It is important to note that Dismissed does not necessarily mean resolved, and it can oftentimes indicate proactive steps taken by the government to address deficiencies or issues raised in the protest. In addition, we cannot state with 100% certainty that the protest below is related to the contract award. We are sharing details here to (potentially) connect some dots for those Prime and subcontractors watching this closely.

There has been no other word out of GAO that the stop work order has been lifted at this time, but the agency is not required to share that information publicly. Watch for task activity as the best indicator that a green light has been given.

There is no public statement by GAO at this time as to why they are taking this action on this important IT contract, but the agency announced that they are issuing a stop work order, effective immediately.

While the agency did not explicitly state that the SWO is being issued as a result of a protest, and we cannot state with 100% certainty that the protest below is related to the contract award, we are sharing details here to (potentially) connect some dots for those Prime and subcontractors watching this closely.
