Softrams, a technology company specializing in digital services that are built upon cloud, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, announced it has added a second member to its Advisory Board. The Advisory Board which consists of government, industry, and technology veterans now includes Jennifer “Jenni” Main, former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), as the second member. Softrams’ Advisory Board brings together the industry’s leading experts to advise and support the organization’s executive staff on key initiatives of strategic growth and leadership.

“I am pleased to welcome Jenni to Softrams’ Advisory Board and look forward to her valuable insights as we take on new and meaningful work across federal agencies. Jenni’s previous leadership at CMS, coupled with her prior experience in the federal space will propel Softrams into being the changemaker it aspires to be,” said Atchut Kanthamani, CEO of Softrams.

The Board’s second member, Jenni Main, whose extensive experience spans over three decades, is regarded as a pioneer in leading enterprise transformations. She champions organizational mission and goals through her expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, enterprise risk management, financial management, information technology, acquisition, and human capital. Main joined CMS as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2016 and was promoted to COO in 2018, where she led CMS’s transformation initiative to streamline processes, reduce hiring times, get more value from acquisition, and increase transparency with the adoption of enterprise-wide Key Performance Indicators and the Agency’s first executive dashboard.

In addition to CMS, Main has served as CFO in five other organizations, including the Small Business Administration, the Treasury’s Trouble Asset Relief Program (TARP), and three private companies. She is currently the CFO and COO of AmalgamRx, a healthcare technology firm. Main is an alum of Harvard University and Cornell University, where she completed her Master’s in Public Policy and Bachelor’s degree, respectively.

“Healthcare must accelerate its transformation from traditional care delivery models to more advanced outcomes-focused approaches,” said Jenni Main. “Having spent five years in leadership at CMS, I can attest that the shift is already underway. I look forward to championing Softrams’ innovative approach and helping them build on their proven track record at CMS. Together, we can make a measurable impact for the millions of Americans who participate in the programs we support.”

Jenni Main sits on the Board alongside inaugural member Jason R. Weiss, former Chief Software Officer (CSO) of the United States Department of Defense (DOD).
