Saliense Consulting, a leading provider of strategic technology-based solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shakir Contractor as the new Vice President of Growth and Capture. In this role, Shakir will spearhead the company’s next phase growth strategy, identify new business opportunities, and lead capture management to drive sustained success in a competitive marketplace.
Shakir brings more than 20 years of experience in the DoD and Civilian sectors, with a proven track record of delivering strategic growth and driving operational excellence across cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, product development, and digital transformation portfolios. Shakir has held numerous leadership roles at firms such as Deloitte and Kreative Technologies, where he successfully led and expanded the Defense Health engineering and cybersecurity portfolios. Most recently, Shakir was instrumental in building strategic commercial practices focused on innovation labs and cybersecurity products in his roles at Ocdyv and Vairav Technology.
