REI Systems Appraised at CMMI Level 3 with Zero Weaknesses and More Than 30 Strengths

REI Systems, a leader in delivering innovative and reliable technology solutions to the Federal Government for over 35 years, today announced that it has achieved Level 3 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) for Development (DEV) and Services (SVC). The appraisal was performed by ProcessWorks. This is the first time REI has been appraised for Services; it has been appraised at level 3 for Development for more than 16 years.

CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations to business goals.

An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.

During the appraisal, zero weaknesses and more than 30 strengths were noted by ProcessWorks, including:

• Strategic Service Evaluation: REI uses the 6P Model to assess new service ideas, combining industry data and customer feedback, to ensure they meet real needs and deliver value.
• Data-Driven Decision Support: REI’s in-depth analysis and technical expertise help identify the best solutions and provide clear evaluation criteria, giving stakeholders the information they need to make confident decisions.
• Seamless and Secure Development: By integrating DevSecOps with automated version control and continuous monitoring, REI maintains secure, consistent, and up-to-date systems throughout the project lifecycle.
