James Hudson is now listed as Deputy Director Cyber Intelligence with the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence.
James now Serves as Deputy Director for Cyber Intelligence in the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, directing and integrating CIO, CDO, and CISO organizations, personnel, and functions to deliver enterprise-wide cyber intelligence and secure operations in support of the Intelligence Community, the Department of Energy, and the energy sector. James also ensures the security, accreditation, and resilience of DOE intelligence systems across headquarters and geographically dispersed field elements and leads cyber intelligence analysis supporting DOE and the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response.
Previously James served as Chief Information Officer and Director of the Information Technology and Applications Center (ITAC) at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), managing an array of business, science, research, clinical informatics, and artificial intelligence (AI) programs that support NHLBI administrative and biomedical research and developed a science IT strategic plan, anticipated future needs, and established and implemented IT and AI policies and procedures.
