All GAO Protests Dismissed on AFRL’s Massive $10B AMAC IDIQ Contract

All active bid protests filed with the Government Accountability Office tied to the Air Force Research Laboratory AMAC vehicle, solicitation FA865226R0001, have been dismissed.

The AMAC is a $10B multiple-award IDIQ contract with a five-year base and three one-year options, built to support a wide range of AFRL science and technology work.

At a high level, the scope is intentionally broad. It covers everything from early-stage research through advanced development and transition into operational use. That includes basic and applied R&D, data science and AI, modeling and simulation, digital engineering, prototyping, testing, and system integration.

The work spans all major AFRL mission areas. Air and space systems, propulsion, hypersonics, and advanced weapons. Cyber, communications, electronic warfare, and sensing technologies. Cross-cutting areas like advanced materials, microelectronics, human-machine teaming, training and simulation, and manufacturing. There is also a strong focus on taking concepts beyond research and actually maturing and transitioning them into usable capabilities. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
