“Dayton, Ohio — JJR Solutions is expanding its opportunities to serve the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through a new Phase III Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract that provides enterprise learning support for the VA Chief Learning Officer (CLO).
Effective August 11, 2021, the VA Integrated Training Support (ITS) contract makes JJR and its teammate, Grant Thornton, key partners with VA CLO in providing VA-wide education and training programs. The five-year contract (base plus four option years) will initially focus on two areas:

Using JJR’s SBIR Magnify© tool to assess VA’s current training program and develop a roadmap and action plans for improvement

Developing and executing a Mentor Management Program
VA has an opportunity to activate numerous optional tasks that could include:

Creating a structure for assessing CLO program needs, program success, and return on investment

Providing webinar services and cohort management
-
Managing an online library of micro-learning resources

Developing a Coaching Program and Coaching Certification Program

Creating an Executive-Level Training Plan and managing a portfolio of executive online learning resources

Developing a Leadership Assessment Plan

Updating VA’s Talent Management System (TMS) course catalog
“The significance of this contract cannot be understated nor can the effort of our team and our partner Grant Thornton,” shared JJR Chief Executive Officer Dave Judson. “Using a Phase III SBIR to deliver enterprise learning capabilities is a new frontier for VA, and we are excited to partner with them to meet their enterprise learning needs.”
This new contract grows JJR’s footprint of VA services, which currently includes improvement and grants management/merit review support for the VA Office of Research and Development (ORD) and Clinical Decision Framework support for the Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP).
VA ITS work will be performed in Dayton and Washington, DC.
